The Virginia DWR has been stocking hard for two months now. Some of the higher elevation waters are running a little low with the lack of rain this month and making fishing tough. The spring fed streams and tailwaters are fishing great. The Brown Trout are done spawning in the naturally reproducing rivers, and are going to be packing on weight for the the next month. Attractor nymphs and slowly fished streamers will be the name of the game. There is always the chance to find small hatches, but in general fish deep and slow. #worklessfishmore
