Centrally located near historic Lexington, Virginia, Blue Ridge Fishing Adventures guides fly fishing excursions throughout the western part of the state. We offer world famous Brook Trout fishing in Shenandoah National Park (an hour outside of Washington D.C.), wading trips on miles of stocked trout rivers, easy to access urban trout fishing in Roanoke and Waynesboro, private access on an amazing Smallmouth Bass river near Lexington, and float trips on the South Fork of the Shenandoah, James, New, Smith, and Jackson Rivers. Blue Ridge Fishing Adventures has a trip that will make for a day to remember.

Virginia offers truly world class angling opportunities. Our cold water fisheries offer native Brook Trout in high mountain streams, wild Rainbow and Brown Trout in large tailwaters, and over 800 miles of stocked trout streams. During the warmer months, Smallmouth Bass fishing is a major draw in the Old Dominion. In addition to Smallies, anglers can expect to find Largemouth Bass, Rock Bass, Carp, Fall Fish, Catfish, and Sunfish in the same waters.​
